COVID-19 INFORMATION
Information relevant to covid-19 and our Wedding arrangement
Even though our wedding will only be in March 20201 we feel that it is important that we still provided some key details on the COVID 19 epidemic and the arrangements around the wedding date itself.
We have had discussions with all the relevant people that contributed to the arrangement of our big day and the following can be noted
ACCOMMODATION
In case the wedding date needs to be moved due to COVID-19, we will inform all guests about the process and the arrangement made in accordance with the date changes.
The wedding date will then be postponed to the next available date allowed, looking at the regulation at that specific time as set by the South African Government.
If you for whatever reason can’t attend the new date all deposits or booking fees paid over to Moholoholo on accommocation will be refunded in accordance with the refund t&c’s of Moholoholo.
WEDDING REGULATIONS
Under the current 2021 “Level 3” regulations tourism minister Mmamoloko Kubayi-Ngubane has published a new directive clarifying the rules around weddings and other events.
The 2021 revised Level 3 regulations state that “Attendance at a venue for a wedding, exhibition or any other function is limited to 50% of the capacity of the venue with a maximum of 100 persons at an indoor venue and a maximum of 250 persons at an outdoor venue,” with this all hygienic conditions and physical distancing measures must be adhered to, for the limitation of exposure of persons to Covid-19.
The directive further states that the person organising the wedding, exhibition, or function and the owner or manager of the venue must ensure compliance with the requirement relating to the physical distancing of at least one and a half metres and the wearing of a cloth face mask, a homemade item or another appropriate item that covers the nose and mouth, by all attendees.
